Klay Thompson sidelined by back injury

Klay Thompson will miss the Warriors’ game Saturday night against the Nets because of a stiff back, interim coach Luke Walton said about 90 minutes before tipoff in Oakland.

“He was a little stiff at shootaround this morning, and he was getting some treatment afterward,” Walton said, according to CSNBayArea.com. “We were going to see if loosened up throughout the day, but they just told me it hasn’t.”

Walton did not say who would replace the All-Star shooting guard in the starting lineup.

I think Curry, Thompson and Green could take the night off the Warriors would still win this game with a blowout victory

You are sadly mistaken!!! They make up the team…. Barnes can be in their too, but if Curry takes a night off they’d lose… Especially against a Western team! They’d lose the Finals to the Cavs without Curry. He’s just such a HUGE part of their offense… Props to the Warriors though
