Don’t know how much playing time Shved will actually get. Adelman and Kahn were planning on bringing Ricky Rubio along slowly also, but before the knee injury was the key to Timberwolves success. Shved, will likely have to split his playing time at both pg/sg. If he plays well early which Ricky is still building strength and not full recovered he likely will see regular minutes. His time at SG however, will depend on the health of Roy, as well as the ability of Buddinger to move to SG and play strong defense while shooting the open three. Should any of those three have early season difficulty, Shved might get more minutes. There is no question the kid has ability, has enjoyed success in Europe, and has major pro experience. He also knows Kirilenko very well and they play well together…. still big minutes do not necessarily translate into rookie of the year. It could happen, I would love to see it, but only time will tell. I’m more concerned with his development into a solid player for many years than those rookie honors.

China is amateur level compare with other good European teams even when Yao Ming was at his best with Wang Zhizhi & Liu. Now with the current team, is even weaker. Yi is more like a D leaguer.
