HANG TIME HEADQUARTERS – We’d normally send a guy to the Commissioner’s office for being late, but we’re making an exception for Knicks star Carmelo Anthony.
It took him a little while to get rolling, months actually, but now that he’s found his groove, we can’t leave him out of the KIA Race to the MVP mix any longer.
Anthony’s had a huge month, playing at the elite level he’s been accustomed to throughout his career. And now he’s got the playoff bid locked up without having to actually break a sweat, they can thank the Pacers for that one. Had Anthony and the Knicks heated up a little sooner, he might have joined LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Kobe Bryant in the top-tier of the KIA Race to the MVP Ladder as opposed to making the Top 10 cut.
But hey, better late than never.

Next year would be the year for Melo to win the MVP.

melo can win MVP. he is already us showing he can change his game for the better. At this level, he ranks better than durant. but we need to see a season long performance like this from melo before he gets an MVP award

Carmelo is playing great….but you know…the Knicks will never win a Championship if the whole strategy is for Carmelo to be THE MAN!!!
More than in any other year, great teams with a great superstar wins championships. mediocre teams with a great superstar does not. Unfortunately, I don’t know if Carmelo KNOWS HOW TO BE GREAT WITHING A GREAT TEAM.
I hope you figure it out Melo…you were supposed to be the Bird to Lebron’s Magic and you guys were supposed to be rivals for years to come.

Tony Parker should b the MVP. He is playing lights out basketball. Also keep in mind he is not playing near as many minutes as most stars because of the spurs philosophy of resting players.his numbers would be off the charts if he played 40 mins a game.also spurs should finish with best record in whole league
Melo can be the MVP of April not he whole year. Just remember he didn’t buy ols coach’s system and made the team lose 6 games straight. Because of his selfish personality, he got coach resigned. Everybody wanted him to be traded in march. MVP should be given to the best player who is always the leader and non selfish person all year long. Just because he did good job for two months, he is not deserved for that. If he continues this way for next year, I will difinately vote for him.
