HANG TIME HEADQUARTERS – One of the perks of the Knicks locking down their playoff berth early is that we don’t have to wonder what will become of The Andy & Landry Show.

Knicks rookies Andy Rautins and Landry Fields (we discussed the show, and other things, with him on Episode 51 of the Hang Time Podcast) have been cracking us up here at the hideout lately with their adventures. In their latest episode, the fellas invade Times Square to hang out with the Naked Cowboy, among others.

This is funny stuff, but how come nobody recognizes my boy Landry Fields! If Spike gives Landry respect then everyone needs to give Landry respect.

that’s right. love that spike wears a landry jersey almost every game.
i think landry is the no. 2 rookie this season. as a second rounder. but john wall was injured much more than landry (didn’t miss a game!). blake was drafted last year and is not a rookie anymore. he’s a sophomore to me. because to me the term rookie does refer to the year a player comes into the league. that seems a bit unfair, because landry would have had a good shot at ROY (if blake wouldn’t be in the discussion).
Not being able to play basketball for a year doesn’t make anyone better basketball player. Blake Griffin is a legit rookie, but Landry Fields has been solid though.
i agree. but that doesn’t mean he’s still a rookie. he just couldn’t play a single regular season game in his rookie year. so is it blakes fault, no. it is just bad luck. he’s not the first player with season-ending injuries. He just had the though situation to not being able to play in his rookie year.
but he had a whole year of rehabing from his knee and practice with his team. he had most professional surrounding possible in basketball, NBA-level-sourrounding. you want to tell me that this did not make him a better player than he was at the draft? don’t buy it.
i think since its celts vs knicks the knicks deserve to win because they technically have a better team but im going to cheer for my hometown celts go c’s!
