LOS ANGELES – After detailed debate and two intense days of examination, the Hang Time crew has come up with our own set of predictions for All-Star Saturday night.
As you might expect, Blake Griffin‘s name came up often. Piling up 137 dunks by All-Star Weekend has a way of making you a favorite for the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest.
Same goes for Ray Allen in the Foot Locker 3-Point Contest. But there’s more to All-Star Saturday night than just those two competitions. We’ve got the Haier Shooting Stars and the Taco Bell Skills Challenge to think about.

Skillz: Rose. this is really thought b/c paul is a better passer, but i think rose will win due to his being able to make the passes and his overall speed will help more
Dunk: Javale Maghee. Don’t yell at me guys. Blake is great, but watch watch a few of his games and you realize that all his dunks are tomahawks or gorilla jams. I think Maghee’s the darkhorse in creativity
3pt: ray allen, no questions asked
His easy peasy sweet stroke is perfect. Plus, he’s used to running around (rack to rack) and launching pressure 3s ( wide open = easy make)
LaMarcus for late All-Star add as Tim Duncan does the right thing and sits out so L.A. can get the nod he deserves.

nobody cares whether you think the paid basketball analysts are garbage or illogical. there is a reason they’re getting paid to put in their picks while your at home reading them.

guys about blake griffin, check out his dunks back when he joined and won the mcdonalds dunk contest.. he has the creativity, the hops, the monster feel (when he dunks) and the fans just love him (expect some bias just like how nate robinson won) and no i’m not a blake griffin fan. i’m a rondo fan
well you see the taco bell skills challenge i will give it to d-rose without no doubt hes a heck of an player he can drive in like no other and look at him its only his 3rd year in the league and hes a starter for the East team and hes my favorite player………………………………………. slam dunk contest oh my!!!!!!! blake griffin the monster of los angeles i dont want to hear any thing about the Lakers right now its all BLAKE GRIFFIN!
